On Thursday, locals of Mirchaiya blocked Siraha's Mirchaiya road. Locals blocked the road at Mirchaiya chowk protesting the air pollution caused by the overloaded tippers traveling in Katari roadside of Siddhicharan Highway. 

A local, Ram Narayan Thakur said that locals blocked the road protesting against the air pollution caused by tippers of cement factories. He said that the air pollution caused by the dusty road condition was affecting their health. Locals warned they will protest strongly if the problem is not addressed on time.
