Parents have padlocked Nepal National Basic School situated in Karmarong rural municipality-9 protesting the absence of teachers for a long time. The parents padlocked the school from Monday stating that teachers do not teach at the school but are getting paid. 

The school with 80 students only has a principal, Jit Bahadur GC. In the absence of other teachers, the principal has to do the administrative works as well as teach the students. As a result, the school is unorganized.
