Teacher arrested on charge of abduction and rape

Police arrested Rajesh Kanodiya, a teacher, on the charge of abducting a 14-year-old girl and raping her.
Kanodiya who is originally from Biratnagar held the girl from Udayapur hostage at Country Yard Hotel in Pokhara-6 for 8 days and raped her multiple times.
According to DSP Raj Kumar KC, spokesperson of District Police Office Kaski, the police rescued the girl from the hotel and handed her over to her family. The perpetrator had confiscated the girl's phone and didn't allow her to contact her family.
Legal action has been initiated against Kanodiya.
