Tanka Prasad Aacharya, a 76-year-old man from Diktel Municipality-1, Korebari, has reported to the Provincial Secretariat of Province number 1 of being ostracized from society for consuming food offered by a Dalit girl in a picnic.  Acharya consumed curd offered by a Dalit Girl in a picnic organized on June 1. While the different government bodies have praised him for such acts, the family and relatives, however, have ostracized him.  

Rajan Rai, a member of the provincial legislature, spoke about the incident to the provincial legislature and demanded action against that involved in shunning  Acharya in Society.
