On August 30, ward chairperson of Byas Municipality -1, Tanahun who was accused of sexual misconduct was released on bail after he paid Rs 35,000 bail amount. Earlier, a 21-year-old woman filed a cased against the ward chair accusing him of sexually abusing her through the phone. He would call her frequently. According to the woman, the ward chairperson helped her get a job in the health sector but now he is trying to be abusive with her.
