Police and Locals clash over waste disposal row in Lahan

Locals of Lahan municipality-4 staged a demonstration against mayor of the municipality on Saturday. Locals were agitated after the municipality started using the Waste Management Center established at the ward 7 years ago only for waste disposal. They have obstructed waste disposal at the site from May 14.
On Friday, locals of the ward clashed with group consisting of municipality employees, police, and local representatives led by Mayor Sah when they tried to dump waste at the site.
