Family members and relatives of 67-year-old Tapeshwor Mandal of Hansapur municipality-2 Baghachaura who sustained an injury during a clash between supporters of  Mayor and Deputy-mayor of Hansapur municipality and later died while undergoing treatment at Janakpur zonal hospital on September 5 staged a demonstration demanding compensation and action against the attackers. Mandal is said to be a supporter of Deputy-mayor.

Supporters of Mayor Ramgyan Mandal and Deputy-mayor Renu Devi Jha had clashed with each other during a dispute over shifting the center of Hansapur rural municipality on July 21.
