A complaint of abduction and rape has been registered at District Police Office Saptari against 22-year-old Dipak Kumar Yadav of Chhinamasta rural municipality-3 Sakhada on September 8.
Grandfather of a 17-year-old girl had filed a complaint against Yadav at District Police Office on September 5 accusing Yadav of abducting the girl on July 14 and repeatedly raping her by taking her to India.
The girl's grandfather had filed a complaint earlier at the women and children cell of District Police Office and Senior Citizen Service Center on July 16. Both the accused and the victim had presented themselves at Area Police Office Sakhada on July 31. The girl was put under the shelter of District Police Office as her guardian's refused to take her back. She underwent medical examination at Gajendranarayan Singh hospital on September 5.
