The Municipal Assembly of Parsagadhi Municipality has been postponed for the second time due to dispute. The assembly was re-organized after it was postponed on June 25 due to the dissatisfaction of Deputy Mayor regarding Policies and Programs.
The municipal assembly was adjourned on June 25 after Deputy Mayor Archana Chaudhary protested saying that the policies and programs were brought without discussing with her and other members.
On Friday, the municipal assembly was organized in high security after deputy mayor and members made dissatisfaction over it, accusing mayor Loknarayan Yadav of making the policies and program one-sided.
Citing internal reason, journalists were also restricted from entering the assembly. Deputy Chaudhary objected to the publication of the policy and program being made public on the official Facebook page of the municipality even though the budget was not published in the meeting, which was adjourned.
Angry members between the two sides resorted to attack on eachother with chairs at the meeting in Friday's municipal meeting protesting the autocracy of the mayor. The assembly was re-scheduled for July 4 after it was adjourned for the second time.
