Tempo drivers of Biratnagar staged a demonstration for a few hours on Sunday demanding the arrested of Kiran Lama, a local goon, accused of killing 19-year-old Shankar Kumar Mishra of Biratnagar metropolitan city-12, son of one of the tempo drivers by hitting Mishra with his car on Saturday night over a dispute.
Mishra, who was riding a motorcycle bearing plate number Ko 35 Pa 5634 sustained serious injury after Lama's vehicle bearing plate number Ba 20 Cha 740 died while undergoing treatment at Birat Nursing hospital.
According to police, Lama, parked the vehicle involved in the incident at his home in Birat metropolitan city-6 and went on the run.
Police are looking for him. Police arrested Lama's brother Melis Lama after he tried to obstruct the police from conducting a search at Lama's home.
