Police arrested 30-year-old Dinesh Prasad Bhatta on Tuesday for physically assaulting his wife, 28-year-old Suman Bhatta in Shahilek Chowk of Dasarath Chand Municipality-4. 

The victim had filed a complaint against her husband of assaulting in the central market. Based on the complaint, the Police arrested the accused, said DSP of Baitadi  Dilli Narayan Pandey. The victim has sustained injuries on her face and body. According to Suman, she was repeatedly abused for the last four years.

"I was regularly assaulted. I filed a complaint at the police because  I have had enough," Suman said.  The victim is undergoing treatment at the Baitadi district hospital.  The police are further investigating the incidents.
