Police have arrested 21-year-old Mohammed Isharfil of Dakneshwori municipality-3 on September 18 on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. 

The maternal uncle of the victim had filed a complaint of rape against Isharfil on March 29 accusing of him of raping the girl on March 13. 

The victim said that she was raped by Isharfil, who had entered the room through ventilation,  while she was sleeping alone in her maternal home. The victim had undergone a medical examination on March 29 in Gajendra Narayansingh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
