Teachers of Early Childhood Development (ECD) have staged a protest in the office of Bhimdatta municipality. They demand an increase in their salary.
The government had increased the salary of the government employees including that of teachers in the current fiscal year. However, the government did not increase the salary of ECD teachers. ECD teachers currently receive a salary of six thousand rupees only.
