ANNFSU Campus Committee of Sahid Smiriti Multiple Campus, Ratnanagar has padlocked the administrative office for the last six months presenting 11-points demand. ANNFSU demanded 11 points including that the investment of full-time professors in private campuses should be taken back, that the professors and employees must give full time to campus and that the professors and employees who are appointed by boycotting TU law must be removed.
In the meanwhile, Radha Balika, Chief of the campus, said that the formal meeting was conducted for the five times to meet the demands of the student union and to open the padlock. She said that there was no financial misconduct like the allegations made by the students.
Due to the padlocking for 7 months, the professors are not being paid their monthly salary. Although the financial transaction has been stopped due to the padlocking, regular classes have not been hampered.
