Man arrested in rape charge in Syangja

Police arrested 26-year-old Chandra Bahadur Damai in charge of raping a 17-year-old girl in Syangja. Police are investigating the case by extending his remand by five days, said SP Nabin Krishna Bhandari.
According to the police, the police arrested him on the basis of the complaint of his relative, as per whom the accused had sexually assaulted the girl by making hefty promises.
