Hotels of Kalaiya and nearby areas were closed on Friday protesting against police brutality.
According to Shivshankar Shah, Chairperson of the Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, Kalaiya, they closed the hotels protesting against threats issued by Constable Anish Kumar Sahani. Hotel entrepreneurs protested after Police Constable Sahani threw meat skewers of hotels in the streets on Thursday evening stating that the grilling of meat created smoke in Bharat chowk. The entrepreneurs shared that because of the police, the hotels in the area are in the threat of closing down.
The entrepreneurs have demanded action against Police Constable Sahani.
