Police on Monday arrested a 17-year-old boy on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl in Pyuthan.

The victim's family had lodged a complaint against the boy at District Police Office Pyuthan on Monday accusing him of raping her on  October 23. Police arrested the boy on the basis of the same complaint from his home and are holding him into the custody of juvenile detention center informed inspector Lokendra GC.

The victim underwent a medical examination at district hospital in Bijuwar.
