Police on November 7 arrested 21-year-old Birendra Yadav of Godaita Municipality-9 on charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. He is accused of sexually abusing the girl on the same day while she was going to school. According to the girl's family, Area Police Office Godaita arrested Yadav after  the victim called her brother and informed him about the incident.

The victim underwent a medical examination on November 7 in District Police Office Malangwa. Police are further investigating the case after having arrested the accused, said the AIG Sushil Kumar Singh of Area Police Office.
