7 youths have been arrested on charges of vandalizing a police vehicle in Rautahat. On Friday evening, dozens of people vandalized police van bearing number plate Na 1 Jha 1331 while returning from Gaur.
It is informed that the glasses of the vehicle have been broken and some policemen have been injured. Police have arrested 7 youths on Saturday for allegedly stabbing and vandalizing a vehicle.
According to Inspector Rupendra Singh, the arrested are 30-year-old Subodh Kumar Sahani, 30-year-old Ranjit Sahani, 30-year-old Birendra Sahani, 28-year-old Umesh Paswan, 19-year-old Munna Khan, and 18-year-old Sakindra Yadav of Katahariya-6, Fatepur.
Chief Inspector Ripendra Singh of the Area Police Office, Garuda, said that all the arrested were under investigation.
