An effigy of Madansen Badayak the Chairperson of Laljhadi rural municipality, Kanchanpur was burnt in front of the village office today. The locals who were protesting that the office of ward no 3 of the rural municipality should not be moved, burnt Badayak’s effigy along with the activists of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) They also locked the office on Kartik 22nd saying that they should not move the ward office. However, the lock was broken on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Municipality, Badayak, said that the problem would be solved by discussion.
