Police arrests man on the charge of rape attempt in Surkhet

Police on November 15 arrested 37-year-old Laxman Bhandari of Birendranagar Municipality-5 in Surkhet on the charge of attempting to rape a 18-year-old woman on the same day. Police arrested Bhandari on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim on the same day, informed DSP Ravi Rawal of District Police Office Surkhet.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Karnali provincial hospital in Surkhet on November 16.
