Two arrested on murder charge

Police on November 16 arrested 51-year-old Bijay Kisku and 32-year-old Birendra Bisku of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-1 Hoklabari on the charge of beating their sister 55-year-old Sita Soren to death.
Bijay and Birendra beat Sita during a dispute about land on November 15. According to DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of District Police Office, police arrested the duo after Sita who sustained serious injury in the incident died while undergoing treatment at Birat Nursing hospital on the same day.
The deceased's body has been handed over to her family after post-mortem at Koshi Zonal hospital in Biratnagar.
