Construction entrepreneurs, on November 20, protested in the capital demanding amendment of the provisions of the eighth amendments to procurement directives 2019. They demanded the amendment to public procurement acts, including those related to a bank credit line and time extension.
They also expressed discontent with the tendency of the media to portray the entrepreneurs as the culprit in the cases relating to construction. The protest started from Mahiti Ghar Mandala and culminated in United World Trade, whereby the protest morphed into a gathering.
