On 26 November, a woman was kicked out of a house in Kailali by her mother-in-law. This was during the 16 days campaign against sexual violence. The woman was injured and had to undergo treatment at the hospital. According to the woman, her mother in law had been abusing her for the past month, forcing her to go out of the house. All her belongings were thrown out of the house.
She has also prepared a complaint to the police. Her husband is a police officer. Police Deputy Inspector Gyan Bahadur Bista said that the mother-in-law of the woman had sent Bohara to arrest the woman's mother-in-law.
