On November 25, locals protested around the area of the police station in Thori Municipality-2 against police's maltreatment to the group of youth from the community. Earlier, the police intervened in the dispute between some Indian nationals and those local youths in Thori View Hotel. The youths had fled the scene after the police reached there. The police allegedly mistreated the youths when those youths went to the police station to get their motorcycles back. According to the locals, the police mistreated the youth which led to the protest. Later, the police and the local youths reached an agreement.
