Magani Devi Majhi, a 70-year-old woman from Ruapani Rural Municipality-3, has accused her 40-year-old son of assaulting her physically on December 3. Magani said that her youngest son and his wife hit her in the chest and other parts of the body for spending a lot of money on medical treatment of her husband's broken leg.
The victim filed a complaint at Patthargada Police Post on December 3, said Shyamkumari Ishar, the victim's daughter. The victim is undergoing treatment at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
The victim is undergoing medical examination and treatment with the help of One Door Crisis Management Center(OCMC) on the recommendation of INSEC Saptari.
