The victim side filed a complaint at the National Human Rights Commission on December 3 against Pratik Rastogi, a 23-year-old science teacher of Redhill Academy School. Pratik has been accused of giving corporal punishment to an 8-year-old student of class 2 on November 29. The victim side also requested INSEC on December 4 to facilitate the investigation to give appropriate punishment to the perpetrator.
The principal said that the student was not given punishment so as to give torture. He further said that the guardian came to the school and unnecessarily scolded the teacher.
The child said that the teacher beat him up for not doing the homework.
