Accused of rape arrested from Siraha

Police, on December 8, arrested 28-year-old Dipendra Mahara of Siraha Municipality-6 in charge of raping a 17-year-old girl on November 12. Mahat is accused of raping the girl by cajoling her to Saptari District. The victim side had filed a complaint of rape on November 12 at the district police office in Siraha.
The victim had undergone a medical treatment on November 19. The accused has been sent to Saptari for the further procedure since the incident had taken place in Saptari, said Umasankhar Prasad Yadav, the inspector of District Police office Siraha.
