The locals of Tigani of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-9, on December 11, staged a protest outside of the hotel whereby the elected local representatives, previous local representatives and the elites from the municipality were meeting on the agenda of the dumping site. The locals protested against the municipality's decision to convert an eco site near the Nilbarahi Temple to a dumping site.
