The complaint of a mother, whose 16-year-old daughter was raped, did not get registered at the District Police Office, Rupani VDC- 2. The police did not register the complaint as they tried to convince the victim to reconcile with the perpetrator. 

The family had gone to watch a play along with other villagers some 100 meters away from the victim's house. The girl was raped on her way home alone. The victim sustained the injury on the head as she tried to resist herself.
