Police, on December 24,  arrested a 23-year-old man of Tikhamdanda of Lalitpur Municipality-14 on the charge of raping 23-year-old sister. The victim's mother said that the accused raped the victim on December 11. The victim's mother filed a complaint of rape at Metropolis Police Circle Satdobato on December 20. The accused was arrested on December 24 and the victim underwent the medical examination on the same date, the police said.
