Police arrested a 37-year-old man of  Devdaha on December 31st for allegedly raping his 15-year-old daughter.

DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai said that the mother of the victim filed a complaint of rape at the Area Police Office Butwal on December 31. As per the complaint,  the man raped her daughter when she was alone at home.

The incident came out after the victim told friends at the school about the incident. DSP Bhattarai said action was taken on the basis of the complaint of the victim.

The victim underwent a  health check-up at Lumbini Regional Hospital, Butwal on December 31, police said.
