Police arrests bus driver for sexually abusing woman

Police on January 13 arrested 25-year-old Milan Dahal of Katari Municipality- Udayapur, currently residing in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-2 of Bhaktapur on the charge of sexually abusing a 24-year-old woman working as a street vendor in Lagankhel. Police arrested Dahal from Dhalku in Kathmandu.
According to police, Dahal, driver of a bus bearing plate number Ba 2 Kha 9324 sexually abused the woman she was going to Newroad from Lagankhel for shopping on January 13 on Dahal's bus. Quoting the victim, DSP Santosh Tamang of Metropolitan Police Circle Jawalakhel said, Dahal sexually abused her and confiscated her mobile.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Patan hospital in Lalitpur. Police are further investigating the incident.
