Basanti Khamcha filed a complaint at District Police Office Nawalparasi against Shiva KC, a computer teacher at Bhanudaya Secondary School, stating that KC beat her 16-year-old son, Rejan Khamcha on January 28. Rejan is an 8th grader at the school situated in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-5.
The teacher allegedly beat the 8th grader with a stick for not doing homework. The student was taken to Bharatpur Community Hospital in Chitawan after his ear swelled the next day and the pain didn't subside.
