Police, on February 3,  arrested 35-year-old Prawesh Khan of Beshisahar Municipality-3 on the charge of attempting rape on a 36-year-old woman. The victim side, on February 2, had filed a complaint of rape and physical assault against the accused. They stated in the complaint that the accused had attempted rape on the girl on February 1. The victim underwent a medical examination at the District Community Hospital Besisahar on February 2.
