Birgunj Youth Struggle Committee staged a sit-in for an hour in front of the office of Birgung Metropolitan City in Birgunj demanding all roads in the metropolis to be widened up to 25/25 meters. Members of the struggle committee took out a demonstration from Ghantaghar of Birgunj and converged at a sit-in before the Birgunj Metropolitan City office. Youth leader Akalesh Sah said they resorted to protest as widening the road was a must for the development of the Metropolitan City.
