One injured in police firing

34-year-old Prem Mahato of Madhyabindu Municipality-2, Nandapur has been injured in the police firing at Madhyapur Municipality-3, Kohaluwa on Saturday night.
According to the police, Mahato has been admitted to the old medical college of Bharatpur for treatment. Police have also arrested 30-year-old Muna Mahato and 19-year-old Suraj Mahato.
According to SP Deepak Regmi of the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the police fired in self-defense after three of them pelted stones at a patrol team led by Sai Gangaram Koiri of Kolhuwa Police Post.
