34-year-old Ishworraj Pantha a dairy farmer from Byas Municipality-14 was beaten by police on March 25 while he was going to deliver milk to his customers on his scooter. According to Pantha, police beat him on Wednesday evening at Bhadgau of Byas Municipality-1 saying that he broke the lockdown imposed throughout the country. The government had decided to allow delivery of essential items including milk during the lockdown. Police also held Pantha into custody at District Police Office for three hours.
