Ward chairman of Ghorahi-2 Narayan Acharya, who kicked out a nurse from his house for fear of coronavirus, has been arrested.
The nurse was a tenant in his house. Police arrested him after Govinda Rijal, Chief District Officer and SP Janak Bhattarai, chief of district police gave the orders to arrest him. He will be charged according to the law, Rijal said.
A nurse Srijana Khadka, 20, who works at the Ghorahi-based Buddha International Hospital who was staying at Acharya’s house has now shifted to a hotel in Ghorahi.
Khadka said she has been regular to the hospital despite the lockdown as the hospital didn’t provide her leave.
However, ward chairman Acharya has denied the allegation.
