Residents of Parsagadhi Municipality Ward-5 have looted 84 bags of the relief materials which were being taken to Parsagadhi Municipality Ward-6 of Parsa for distribution.
A group of about a dozen people, including Rajeshwar Prasad Yadav, started a dispute alleging discrimination in relief distribution while the authorities were distributing relief to 224 needy people of Pacharukhi and Bhigna area.
At the same time, a vehicle carrying relief materials sent by the municipality for Ward-6 arrived and some locals looted the materials. Purna Bahadur Dahal, the deputy inspector at the Area Police Office Ektanga said that some locals of Pacharukhi village instigated the loot and that the police are further investigating on the incident.
