Four shops fined for selling items at higher price during lockdown

Four shops selling food, meat, and fruits at higher prices during the lockdown have been fined today.

A team from the Department of Commerce and Supply Management informed that Katuwal Stores in Imadol of Mahalaxmi Municipality-1 has been fined Rs. 200,000 during market monitoring.

According to Deepak Pokharel, Monitoring Inspector of the Department, a fine of Rs 50,000 has been imposed on Rajendra Meat Shop in Gyaneshwar for not having a price list. Similarly, Mukesh Juice and Fruit Shop and Babulal Fruit and Vegetable Shop in Imadol have been fined Rs. 50,000 each for not having a price list.
