One arrested on the charge of murder of his wife in Humla

Police on May 9 arrested 30-year-old Junraj Thapa on the charge of murder of 24-year-old Shanti Thapa of Sarkegad Rural Municipality-4. According to Ram Prasad Gharti Magar, DSP of District Police Office Humal, police arrested him on the basis of a complaint lodged by Dhangiri Bhandari, father of the deceased, on May 9 at District Police Office Humla. In the complaint, Bhandari stated that his daughter was murdered on May 7.
