Police arrested 15 protestors, protesting against police in Janakpur. Youths affiliated to the Janata Samajwadi Party marched towards the District Administration Office alleging that police misbehaved with Ashok Yadav, a member of the Provincial Parliament from Janata Samajwadi Party.
They staged a rally near the Basaihaya Kali Temple in Janakpur demanding action against the police who misbehaved with Yadav. However, the police arrested them before reaching the District Administration Office.
Police arrested Yadav, an elected representative from Sarlahi constituent number 2 (Kha), on Friday for wandering around without a pass in the lockdown.
