Entrepreneurs of the Birgunj market staged a demonstration demanding to open the market. On Monday evening, they staged the demonstration on both sides of the road from Ghantaghar to Maisthan Chowk, maintaining social distancing to press the Government to allow businesses to open.
Krishna Patel, President of the Electronic Materials Entrepreneurs' Association of Parsa, said that they staged the demonstration because the government did not change the modalities of the lockdown or come up with any new strategy even after 70 days of lockdown period because of which they have faced a huge loss.
