Family members of an 8-year-old girl in Rupandehi have lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Butwal against a 13-year-old boy accusing him of raping the minor girl.

The victim's sister said that the accused raped the victim on May 8 when no one was in the house and threatened to kill her if she told about the incident to anyone.

The victim was referred to Universal Medical College, Bhairahawa for further treatment, after the two days of treatment at  Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.

DSP Partit Singh Rathore of the Area Police Office, Butwal said that the investigation into the incident is being carried out based on a complaint.
