The tea farmers in Illam have started protests as the tea industries dropped the price of tea on their own. It comes as a blow to the farmers who have already incurred loss during the lockdown. The tea farmers of Suryodaya Municipality protested with the placards against the decision of 62 industries associated with Suryodaya Tea Association to lower the price.
