Tension ran high in Sabaila municipality of Dhanusha after locals resorted to attack and vandalism at Area Police Office Sabaila over the death of 22-year-old Sambhu Sada Musahar of Sabaila Municipality-12, a detainee, in the police's custody. Police claim that Musahar committed suicide by hanging in the toilet of the police office, locals, however, suspect foul-play behind his death and are demanding a fair investigation into the incident. The locals ran into a clash with police after they started pelting stones at the police station and vandalized a police van. Police fired several rounds of tear gas to take the situation into control.
