A clash broke out between the two sides over road construction in Khesraha village of Pakaha Mainpur Rural Municipality-4, Parsa.
Seven people were injured in the clash, and the condition of two injured is critical. The injured are Ram Awadh Baitha, Ram Sagar Baitha, Basant Baitha, Ramlakhan Baitha, Kanhai Sah, Sumitri Kumari, and Ram Prabesh Baitha.
Six of the injured are undergoing treatment at LS Neuro Hospital in Birgunj. Another injured Ram Pravesh was taken under control by the police, said the Rural Municipality's Chairperson Vijay Chaurasiya.
The construction of a public road in Khesraha village has been in dispute among locals for some time. An all-party meeting was held in the village on Thursday to resolve the same dispute.
