Police, on June 26, arrested 31-year-old Tikaram Shreesh and 30-year-old Kamal Regmi of Bhume Rural Municipality-4 of Khabang on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.

According to Inspector Dinesh Gurung of the District Police Office, the victim's side had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kankri on June 26 alleging that Shreesh had raped the victim on June 21 and Regmi had raped her on June 23. He said the incident was being investigated.

The victim has been examined at Rukum West District Hospital, Salle on July 2
