Police have arrested Arjun Siwakoti, a resident of Baniyantar in Kathmandu, on charges of rape.
Police have arrested Siwakoti on the charge of sexually abusing two girls from the neighborhood. Siwakoti has been threatening to kill them for a year and raping them for a year.
According to the police, the parents of the two girls, aged 12 and 14, had lodged a complaint after finding problems in their health.
Police said that Siwakoti was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim's parents.
Police said that the girls have been handed over to their families after undergoing health check-up, while further investigation is underway on Siwakoti.
